Cookie Usage Agreement
This Cookie Usage Agreement (the “Agreement”) explains how RE Intelligence uses cookies and similar technologies on the Service. It supplements our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions.
1.What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by the websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites function or work more efficiently, and to provide information to the owners of the site. Similar technologies — such as localStorage, session storage, web beacons, and pixel tags — perform comparable functions.
2.Categories of cookies we use
2.1 Strictly necessary
These cookies are required to operate the Service and cannot be switched off.
- Authentication — Supabase session cookies and JWT tokens to keep you signed in (HTTP-only, Secure).
- Security — CSRF tokens and middleware-managed session refresh.
- Preference flags —
localStorageentries such asland_t-theme-touched(records that you have set a theme preference) and the global filter state inre_intelligence_filters(currency, emirate, comparison mode, date range).
2.2 Functional
These improve the experience but the Service works without them.
- Theme selection (light / dark) via
next-themes. - UI layout state, recent searches, and dismissed banners.
2.3 Analytics
- First-party page-visit telemetry. When you are signed in, we record the URL pathname, human-readable page label, and a timestamp via the
/api/dashboard/analytics/page-visitendpoint. This is associated with your user account and is retained for 12 months in raw form, then aggregated. - We do not currently use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any third-party advertising or behavioural tracking.
2.4 Marketing
We do not set marketing or advertising cookies. We do not share data with ad networks.
3.Third-party cookies set by sub-processors
- Vercel sets a routing cookie required for content delivery and edge caching.
- Supabase sets authentication cookies as described in section 2.1.
4.Your choices
- You can clear cookies and
localStoragefrom within your browser at any time. Doing so will sign you out and reset preferences. - Most browsers let you block cookies entirely. Note that strictly necessary cookies are required for the Service to function — blocking them will break sign-in.
- You may withdraw consent for any non-essential analytics by emailing contact form; we will exclude your account from internal analytics aggregates.
5.Changes to this Agreement
We may update this Agreement to reflect changes in the cookies we use or in applicable law. Material changes will be notified by email to active account holders. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
